Precious is about a modern girlfriend who makes pizza in a very sexy way while wearing absolutely fabulous glasses!!

Today we started to clean out the entire Showroom.

Old stuff (as in springsummer2011) out to make room for the new stuff (as in AutumnWinter20112012) because the press days are almost here.

While going through boxes and shelves that hadn't realy been looked at in ..uhm.. a while we found a few cool things.

Cool things like these records that were being used as promotion material by Dr Martens to celebrate their 60th birthday.

Since not that many people own a record player anymore (apparently), we had loads left.

And it just so happens that:

 I do own a record player! Yay!

I am now the proud owner of

1) Cherry Bomb by Verbal

2) Ever fallen in love with someone you Shouldn't've by Noisettes

4) Lilac Wine by The Cinematic Orchestra

This puts the grand total of records I own to 22.

(which is a far cry from the 2800 my ex-boyfriend owns!)

Holiday! Celebrate!

It has been sooo long since I last went on a proper holiday.

(I know. I spent 3 months abroad last summer but that was for work, not play!)

My last real vacation was in 2009! Can you believe that?

No person should EVER have to wait that long to go away and relax.

That's what I think :)

So I decided to book a trip for me, myself and I.

Yes, that's right. Just Moi!

6 whole days of doing only what I want. And I will be doing this in

La Bella Italia

Napoli

(to be more precise)

Swimming - Shopping - Sunbathing - Eating Gelato - Trying not to get run over by mad Italian drivers 

 Visiting historic sites - Shopping - Sending postcards to my friends - Eating pasta

Drinking Limoncello - Shopping

Bought a travelguide to help me get set.

As a devoted history fan I have to visit Pompeii.

De werken van Tamara De Lempicka zijn al sinds ik ze ontdekte bronnen van inspiratie.

Vooral haar kleurgebruik vind ik adembenemend. Felle kleuren in vrij duidelijk omlijnde vlakken.

Très Art Deco, non?

Ze was dan ook een beroemde art deco schilderes.

Geboren in Polen eind 19e eeuw en gestorven in Mexico in de jaren '80 van de vorige eeuw.

Tussen de twee wereldoorlogen door had ze het meeste succes met haar tegelijk koele en zwoele schilderijen.
